Our Team

Odaly Lana

Registered Social Worker

Hi I’m Odaly!

Life is full of highs and lows – it is our shared human experience. In the face of challenges that sometimes feel too overwhelming, we might find ourselves in “survival mode” and disconnected from the person we truly want to be. My goal is for your path to evolve and we’ll navigate it together. I’ll guide you toward a more fulfilling and authentic version of yourself. You’re not alone in this – remember that change is a constant, just like the tides that come and go. It is important to remember that your path to wellness is entirely unique. My priority is to meet you where you are at.

My belief in therapy is partnership, placing you at the centre and collaborating to bring about meaningful change, in a way that best resonates with you. Your needs and your values – they’re at the heart of our journey, which is why I provide a space that is deeply empathetic and supportive and in every interaction, I integrate trauma-informed care and an anti-oppressive lens.
ABOUT ME
Languages spoken: English and Spanish

Odaly has a Master of Social Work from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University. Odaly is a Registered Social Worker and licensed in Ontario with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).

Odaly began her career working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, international students at Wilfrid Laurier University, and with parents and children in various EarlyON Centres. Odaly’s skills widened further when she worked as a Family Outreach Worker where she supported families in meeting their basic needs and addressed various gaps in distinct areas of their lives. Through both of these experiences, she gained a profound understanding of the importance of helping individuals discover their innate strengths and resilience, fostering their capacity to thrive despite life’s obstacles.

Odaly’s most recent experience is a non-profit community mental health agency, where she had the privilege of working with diverse populations, including individuals from various age groups, cultural backgrounds, and socioeconomic statuses. In this dynamic environment, she addressed a multitude of mental health concerns, ranging from anxiety and depression to more complex issues like trauma and addiction. Odaly hold groups and works with children, families, couples, and adults helping them navigate their challenges and guiding them toward a fulfilling journey.
