Meet Rose
Hello!
I am Rose, I create a space for us to adapt a play based normalized approach for kids and teens to feel safe and in control when navigating life and creating coping strategies. This play based child led approach to therapy helps both the child and I can learn about one another and create a rapport that fosters communication, trust and builds resilience all while enjoying the many values of play.
I believe it is important to feel supported when engaging in communication about challenging life events, feelings, diagnosis and more. Using play, we can help normalize talking about our challenges and minimize any hierarchy throughout. In fostering meaningful connections and conversations, I help guide clients into building a coping plan that works for them using a multitude of communication strategies and more. We cultivate strategies to help us manage and work through difficult situations in a healthy and positive manner while validating that these experiences for some are challenging. This approach has a goal of providing autonomy and building resilience both withing and beyond session for personal growth and the holistic well-being of the clients.
